The Holiday Gift That Gives Back – IS BACK!
Over the past three years, the charity initiative, "A Philly Special Christmas," has blossomed into a major philanthropic success, creatively blending music and community engagement to support meaningful causes across Philadelphia.
Beginning with the inaugural release in 2022, Eagles players Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jordan Mailata formed The Philly Specials and debuted their Christmas album, raising over $250,000 for the Children's Crisis Treatment Center.
The 2023 follow-up album, "A Philly Special Christmas Special," expanded the project's reach through collaborations with Patti LaBelle and Travis Kelce, securing a place on the Billboard 200 and generating more than $2.5 million for charities like the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
In 2024, the project culminated with "A Philly Special Christmas Party," featuring iconic artists Stevie Nicks and Boyz II Men, and introducing the impactful initiative "Operation Snowball." Operation Snowball delivered holiday gifts to over 200,000 students within Philadelphia's public school system, receiving enthusiastic support from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and numerous local dignitaries.
